The Association of Ghana Startups as a trade association and mouthpiece of startup entrepreneurs and the startup ecosystem, is open to all startups within Ghana, as well as organizations or institutions which provide services to startups.
The Association also grants Associate membership status to various entrepreneurship focused groups at both national, regional or district levels.
The Aims & Objectives of the Network includes:
1. To create a common platform for entrepreneurs and managers of startup businesses to interact and share ideas, challenges and solutions.
2. To set up a pool of business support services providers in banking, micro finance, accounting, law, taxation, state institutions, etc. to readily assist startup businesses in Ghana.
3. To engage and negotiate with government and regulators on policies affecting startup businesses in Ghana to assist create the enabling environment for member-businesses to grow.
4. To set up welfare mechanisms such as cooperative credit unions and micro-insurance schemes for member-businesses to access readily available support for growth.
